Christina is pelvic health and orthopaedic physiotherapist with over 10 years experience. She completed her PhD at McMaster University in Rehabilitation Sciences looking at high-load resistance training in an aging population.
She is now completing a postdoctoral research fellowship on the role of high-intensity exercise in the perinatal space with particular attention to its interaction with pelvic floor function. She has published peer-reviewed research papers in older adult rehab, pregnancy and pelvic health.
Christina travels international as a division lead in geriatrics and pelvic health for the Institute of Clinical Excellence. She is a mom of 2 and has competed pregnant, postpartum or both in many sports including CrossFit, powerlifting and weightlifting.
Fun Fact: Christina is an avid reader and one of her favourite things to do id listen to an audiobook and run with her lab Tucker.
