Erin O’Brien is a Certified Personal Trainer and the founder of WiseMoves Kingston. She has been working with personal training clients, and teaching group fitness classes since 2015. In addition to holding a Diploma in Fitness & Health Promotion, Erin is also an Adaptive Fitness Specialist, and focuses on training individuals with chronic conditions. She has a variety of certifications to to teach PWR!Moves Parkinson’s exercise, Common Movement Disorder Land & Aquatic classes, Urban Poling, Seniors Fitness, Bone Fit exercise and HeartWise exercise classes.
Erin’s goal is continuing to ensure that unique, underserved populations have access specialized training. Currently, Erin supports and improves fitness and mobility for older adults, individuals of all ages living with Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, clients with Cardiac Conditions, COPD, Cancer, Diabetes, Spinal Cord Injuries, Osteoporosis, Arthritis, and those recovering from surgery or injury.
Erin strives to inspire her clients to move with more strength and confidence to help them live better every day. She loves guiding clients away from underestimating their abilities to a new place where they are able to see how much they can do, and the goals they can achieve.
Fun Fact : Erin played varsity basketball at Humber College.
